Live From Studio M Volume 6
I'm proud to announce the release of the compilation CD, "Live From Studio M Volume 6" from 105.5 Triple M. Proceeds go to the Nature Conservancy. Artists include; Death Cab For Cutie, The Fray, KT Tunstall, Shawn Mullins, Trey Anastasio, Mat Kearney, Nickel Creek and yours truly, Michael Massey.
I am proud to be in the company of such accomplished and distinguished artists. The album consists of well known songs, recorded in an intimate, relaxed setting at the radio station, many done unplugged.

January 2007, it's a new year!
2007! A fresh start! After releasing 3 albums in 18 months, 2007 has become a year to celebrate and promote. I've promised that I won't release another until 2008. And I've already got 5 new pop songs written for that one. I also have composed a new piano instrumental entitled "Silhouette" that I am very excited about.
I have the pleasure of announcing that my good friend Valerie Wulf will be collaborating with me on the business side of things. We have ideas for placement of the "pianist" album, for new pitches and ad campaigns, and the enthusiasm to make it a successful venture for all concerned.
Francie Phelps a.k.a. Ivana Getchakokov from the Mad Cabaret, is joining me in producing a smoky, lounge duo act. She debuted at the Kalahari and brought the house down with an encore of Me and Bobby McGee. She's a natural. Simply put. People study and rehearse for years to do that song well and she nailed it the very first time ever, with no rehearsal. Good things are coming our way from that act.
The Present nearly sold out the initial pressing. Next year we promote earlier, get regional airplay, distribution, and tour. It will be a joy.
