"Attack Of The Delicious", the new CD from Mike Massey, nabbed the honor of Pop Album of the Year at the 2006 Madison Area Music Awards, Saturday night March 18th. It was a wonderful show and well attended with 1000 people gathered at the Wisconsin Union Theater showing their appreciation for the Madison music scene and Rick Tvedt and Rick's Cafe.

Mike was joined on stage by co-producer Tony Cerniglia and his daughters, 6 year old Anna and 10 year old Emily to accept the award.

3.05.06 - 94.1 WJJO in Madison featured Mike and the new album on the "Local Stage" program with Kurt Baron. They spun Shimmy, Star and None O' Your Business and Kurt interviewed Mike via telephone. We hope Ed McMahon wasn't listening. The whole process was initiated by networking on myspace.com

3.04.06 - Mike performs a benefit for Woodland Montessori at Cafe Montmartre with the lovely and talented Francie Phelps. A smashing good time was had by all and Tim Heiman exhibited a closet auctioneer ability that took everyone by surprise. His wife, "Teen Dream" Linda Heiman was the shows principal organizer.
